The Nigerian Youth Futures Fund (NYFF), an initiative by LEAP Africa, backs young Nigerians through programmes, events and a growing community of fellows. It needed a main site that could carry all of that, and a separate community platform where members log in, learn and connect.
BeeTcore designed and built both.
Two audiences, two products. The public needed a clear, fast main site covering programmes, events and reach. Fellows and members needed a private space with profiles, forums, a directory, submissions and learning, all under one login.
UI/UX design for the main site and the community platform, with all iterations and final assets, across up to 20 pages.
Front-end development of 16 pages for the main site, including new Events and Reach pages, deployed to NYFF’s domain.
Back end and front end for the community platform, from user system to LMS integration.
Main site: a redesigned, 16-page front end integrated with existing content. Community platform: user accounts, forums, a member directory, submission forms, LMS integration, analytics and a help page, built mobile and tablet responsive with backups, SSL, a web firewall, anti-spam, visitor statistics and live chat.
One public face and one members-only home, launched on NYFF’s own domain. Programmes, events and the community now run on platforms built for them rather than around them.
