This week we will be discussing Innovation and Technology in Nigeria, it’s importance, what has been achieved and what can be achieved.
Innovation can be defined as a new idea, device, or method. It is often also viewed as the application of better solutions that meet new requirements, unarticulated needs, or existing market needs.
This is accomplished through more effective products, processes, services, technologies, or business models that are readily available to markets, governments, and society.
An integral part of innovation that can’t be undermined is Technology. Although some people have argued that technology adds no value to innovation but that has been proved wrong.
It’s essential to note that innovation also happens when you use technology to provide a real or perceived value.
Looking at the emerging Tech start-ups and businesses in Nigeria, it shows that innovation and technology are here to stay!
