Building something with the same shape?

Challenge.

African prints are loud by design. Put a busy logo next to them and both lose. The brand had to frame the clothes rather than compete with them, and still look premium enough to carry a luxury price.

DISAMCATH wordmark and Di monogram on white, charcoal and Pure Red

Solution.

The wordmark does the work. A light, fashion-led sans serif set in capitals, with two signature details: fine diagonal cuts through the D and the i, like tailoring marks on cloth, and a square tittle in Pure Red.

Everything else stays in black and white. Charcoal Black and White carry the brand, Pure Red appears only as an accent, and campaign photography goes black and white with a single cut of red. The clothes stay the hero.
